Hand and wrist surgery - Arthroscopy

The Hand surgeon received teaching training granting him the right to this title after a fellowship of orthopedic or plastic surgeon. He is THE specialist in the diseases and injuries of the hand and wrist. This includes the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrom, Dupuytren's contracture, fractures of the of the hand and wrist or lesions of vessels, nerves, tendons, and ligaments of this most complex limb of human musculoskeletal. The success of these procedures requires extreme precision and a lot of skill on the part of the operator. After the surgery, the surgeon often prescribed patients some exercises for the recovery of the function and the mobility of the fingers. To this end, he cooperates with physiotherapists and Orthotists.
